Auto Door Locking And Seat Belt Buzzer

I recall on my RAV4.2 there was a routine involving the ignition setting and opening and closing the door numerous times to set the auto door locking and/or the Seat Belt Buzzer.

Is there something similar for the RAV4.3 for the autolock and the seat belt?

Also, I have not seen a button anywhere internally to lock all the doors - Is there really no central locking button or is it just my eyes?

Central door locking is on the driver's window switch panel. Not sure about routines for autolock but don't think so and we had an extensive debate about the merits or otherwise of switching off the seat belt warning recently

Can only be turned off by a dealer on a 4.3 apparently.

Is it?

I really need to look around better! :help: Cheers!

I saw posts on RAV4 World about adding relays and stuff for this and that surprised me as I always thought it was a standard thing on US spec cars to autolock once you get up to 7mph (the Focus and the Sebring I rented both did that)

It is the noise that bugs me as putting the seatbelt on is a automatic thing for me so I don't need a buzzer to remind me when I drive away (and I am the only driver on my RAV4), but I don't mind the light on the dash flashing if I am just sitting in the car with the engine going and NOT going anywhere. I *think* it also buzzes if the passenger is not wearing one (which is annoying if the passenger happens to be a bag of shopping  )
