Aygo - Paying The Lease Hire Off Early

Had a quick search but it didn't bring up anything.

Anyone got info on paying it off early or even cancelling the agreement?

I'm trying to reduce my monthly outgoings as i'm buying a house don't mind paying it off as i'll be able to bundle the money in with the mortgage.

Any help ideal.

Is it on Hire Purchase or a PCP with a balloon?

More info needed on the agreement term and how long you have had it for etc to advise.

Or just call the finance company involved and ask what your options are.

I'll have to rummage out the paper work I suppose.

It's a standard toyota deal for the blue.

1100 down 2 years out of the 3 done.

If your not sure what what agreement type its on just ring them and ask if a voluntary termination is possible, all they can do is say no.

If its not possible ask for a settlement figure on the finance, once paid you own the car.

If you have paid over 50% of what is due you can hand the car back with no penalty - this is part of the Consumer Credit Act. If you want to keep the car call the finance company and they will give you a settlement figure.

we did exactly that with both the Aygo and 6 months later with the Prius.

you simply call Toyota finance - their number is on the paperwork, and ask them for a settlement figure.

They will not give it to you on the phone, but you will get a letter from them within a week.

You then simply pay the outstanding balance and bobs your uncle!
