Hi Adam

No-one will be able to start helping you unless you can give more details.

Year-model etc.

Have you considered disconnecting the fuel feed pipe under the bonnet, placing it in a container and switching on the ignition to see if fuel is getting that far?

If not I can't see any point in banging in easy start if not.

I think I would be really desperate to use that stuff in a petrol engine.

Easy start is for petrol engines! the car is fine now, I could hear the pump was working by lifting the rear seat. just needed a big push from a powerful Battery and a open unrestricted air intake by removing the air box and with the help of easy start. :-)

I've heard this happen to other Rav's of the same age so hope this helps the Rav massive.

Glad to hear are up and running,Adam, and good of you to post the result.

I have only used ES on commercial oil burning lumps and when they did start they sounded as if the head was about to blow off!!Mind you I was usually as frozen as the fuel and all I wanted to do was get the :censor: things started and get myself off somewhere warmer.

Thats why I said I would not fancy using in the RAV.
