Well I finally managed to get a copy of the booklet I mentioned in another topic somewhere's on this forum last year. (Page 2 of the Forum under - An Offer From Mr. T On Damaged alloys.)

The booklet has 10 pages and I scanned it at no expense to me you will be pleased to hear. I called into my local Mr. T agent today in Shrewsbury and asked if I could have the last one, Mr. T was very gracious and said, "That'll be a tenner sir..." Of course they didn't. I'm not sure it was the last one, but I couldn't see any more of them lying about. :kewlpics:

Here is the photobucket link to the, erm, photo's.

If you have access to my other pictures, please don't nick them. It appears someone has already nicked some other photo's I included on there. Ta very much. Enjoy the pics, and for those about to buy an iQ, go on, choose a leather seat option from here, they're only £800! Treat yourself, it's 2012, it's the done thing.

Well what the heck is going on with Photo*ucket? Me pictures are back, Innit! I'm going to blame this one on TalkTalk. Why? Because it has been R-sing me about for days now. That's why.

My local dealer certainly had a pile of them spread out in the "brainwash area" in reception last week, so some places will have some left and others not.

It seems by the wording in the booklet that these designs are meant to be specified when ordering your "new" IQ and not as post sale fitments.

I wonder if they are available to order to be fitted after delivery, and how much....

Well, the guy I spoke to -as mentioned in the other part of the forum- told me that at first they will be on New Build's only, but he expects they will become available as 'retro-fit' parts, as with the Fiat 500 and Mini's. That's why I'm saving for my new seats... haven't made a choice as yet, but those black with the orange iQ on them look tasty. As for the cost of the seats or 'stickers', I couldn't say how much. I would hope they are going to be priced at a lower price for 'second-hand' cars.

There are plenty of online car sellers advertising the supply of a new iQ with Special Leather as an option at £674, same as Standard Leather.

ie One of many.

What do you mean about not 'nicking' the pictures?

do you mean dont 'Save' and publish elsewhere?

The pictures of Special Leather is all over the Interwebby thing if you look.

The Brochure is also readily available online.

No George, what I mean is that three of my pictures in another album have disappeared, somehow, from Photobucket, so I'm not accusing anyone of nicking them, I asked that no one nick them. I don't know how they would nick them, which is why I put that. I haven't changed anything on the page in question -where the photo's are. I thought I was doing people a favour by scanning the pictures and putting them on the site, I was not aware that they are readily available on line. I didn't look on the Interwebby thing as I saw them at the dealer. If the seats are priced as you say, then game on. :yahoo:

Were they your pictures taken by you with your camera,

or someone elses you posted and they have been removed because of copywright?

(which is not yours)

I have many pictures that 'i' took (of my and others cars) & that are posted on forums and now appear on Google images & elsewhere.

Someone has a now put their Copyright on them & they can not be 'Saved' even by me, & yet they are my pictures.

Easy to prove if i could be bothered as they are all saved on my cards.

Teaches me for uplifting other peoples pictures and using them willy nilly.

(not willy pictures)

Yep, all my pictures, taken some time ago. Remember or ever heard of the Kodak 110 camera? A tiny thing it was, slim line. I used it a number of times when I was in the RAF. All the pictures are my own. Although, in a couple of them I do appear in the photo's when mates took them. I put them on there for Marcos to look at, as he is in to Helicopters. Short of pasting COPYRIGHT all over them, what can you do?

News just in. The photo's are still there. Fricken bizarre! TalkTalk gets the blame for this one. As stated in Edit above at first entry. :ffs:

Thanks for sharing bob, being a fan of the Deep Amethyst its a shame they haven't included purple in the choice of black leathers with coloured fillets.

I have to agree with you there. I think they have missed out on a few colour schemes. Like yellow, blue, even silver. Still, we could lobby them to bring in some more colours, and find out if they plan to introduce these seats and stickers as a retro-fit option. Fingers crossed.
