A Step To Far ?

Just after opinions ???

Firstly I will say that these mounts were destined for the bin as they were marked and Me being fussy have all-ready changed them for a new set.

I was looking for that Daystate look and the only silver scope mounts I can find are direct from Daystate and carry a very high price tag !

So I stripped of the anodising in localised areas just to see what I could achieve or not as the case may be..

You will see in the pics that the cap head allens have been changed for button heads that now fill the screw slots better and look tidier..

My plan is to carry the stripping right over the top and leave the front and rear edges as they are IE anodised black...

Either that or just chuck em in the bin anyway... So what's the verdict ?? .... Oh and I realise they would be less suitable for hunting .....

Button heads look far better and the brushed look is far more Techy

The annodising or powder coating looks a bit cheap to me.
