Unbelieveably to us our Aygo has been with us for five years and I've just been informed it has passed its MOT again. It's our "school run" car and doesn't do many miles (just short of 17,000 in our ownership), but no major issues since the three year warranty expired.

The front brakes were beginning to show neglect due to lack of use, so its fifth birthday present is a front brake overhaul which will see it right for the next few years.

Still cheap as chips motoring and we have no intention of swapping the car.

I know what you mean 'cheap as chips motoring', our Aygo is coming up to 6 year old, and over 40,000 miles. Just passed another MOT, apart from new pads and discs up front, and obviously a set of new boots, it's been the cheapest car we've ever had (touch wood).

My aygo had it's 5th MOT in august and no faults whatsoever, surprising considering it had 65000 miles on it. On it's first MOT I needed new brakes and discs
