With only a few seconds to go, the only bid of £50.00 (MINE....!!!!) was attempted to be gazumped by someone at £75.00. Since I had them on auto bid, I won the auction at £77.00 plus £20.00 carriage....not bad for 2 alloys "for stock."

The smart money is on Mistermena who made the other offer, and cost me £27.00 extra...!!!!

Cheers Davrav as usual,

Big Kev :fireman2:

Nae bother Taffsters....truth will oot eventualfully. If anybody wondering what "wheels for stock" actually means up here, you have heard me wax lyrical about the state of Glasgow / Scotland roads. Well it really has gottened even worserer, and these wheels will more than likely be used in the next couple of years....hopefully not but seems like only a matter of time. Even a Ninglish visitor commented on road conditions at weekend and he was only here for 3 days exorcising...!!!

If they look as good as the pictures, then you have picked up a bargin! I picked up a full set of Avensis T-180 alloys and tyres off eBay quite a while back with about 6-7mm of tread for less than £300. Very rare to fine the T-180 wheels :(

Are the wheels from other Toyota models sutable for the 4.2? I've read somwhere about Lexus wheels being usable, but what about other models. I'd ideally like 16" steel wheels for a set of A/T tyres, but realise that this is a tall order these days.
