5 Year Warranty And Servicing?

In order to maintain the 5 year warranty do you have to have the servicing done at Toyota?

No, a VAT registered garage using genuine parts following the service schedule should be fine.

Keep all receipts and get the book stamped.

I've read that the first 3 years are covered with the purchase of the car but years 4-5 are an extension provided by Toyota assuming you have the car serviced with them?

I doubt you will find anything that says years 4 & 5 are only valid if serviced at a Toyota garage. I imagine this extension is marked as Toyota GB as some countries/markets dont get the same terms.

Salesman tried to tell me the misleading an incorrect requirement about the car needing to be serviced by a Toyota Dealer to maintain the 5 year warranty. He changed his tune when I mentioned the Bllock Exemption. If I remember correctly the service book more or less confirms what cabcurtains has said.

So, no you don't and don't let anyone try to persuad you otherwise.
