Hi, we have a 2001 gen 7 celica 190 and fitted a new car Battery yesterday during a routine service, car was running perfect before, now wont start, security light flashing all the time, alarm comes off ok but immobiliser is not recognising the key, have tried all 3 keys, no joy, keyman has tested keys and their ok, electrician has tested alarm and immobiliser, working ok, also connected a scanner but its not able to connect, any idea's please?

I would say reset the ECU, but that should have happened when you changed the Battery.

Was everything connected back up ok?
