Hi folks can you tell me if this is normal? when my car is warmed up and ticking over if i turn the heater control (temp)up full the rev counter goes up to 1200, when i turn it back to half way it goes down to 800, is this normal? :unsure:

Totally normal mate! Its the car using the engine to warm up the cabin...

cheers bud just wondered, me mate said his dad had to take his mitsi back to get it checked out for same thing, not heard what the outcome was though

Spoke to my mate about his dads mitsi, garage said it was normal for this to happen.

if you turn on the aircon or the screen/mirror demist it'll do the same.

as MrM said it's normal behaviour for these.
