Diesel Particulate Filter

hi, do toyota use diesel particulate filters? will there be one fitted on my 2012 Hiace? any info about the regeneration process if it has one fitted? is there any indicator light on the dash to tell you that it is regenerating? thanks

Can't be sure however you can bet it's pretty likely!

Just doing the usual taking it for a blast down the motorway will clear it out, I'm sure they won't be any different to clean out than other filters - there isn't any point to changing

I didn`t think it would have a DPF but it does,but there won`t be a regeneration in process warning light though only a warning `yellow engine fault` ight.
