Corolla Verso Automatic - What Type Is It?

Does anyone know what type of automatic gearboxes are fitted to the Corolla Verso?

Is it just the MMT/robotised manual one, or is there a CVT version too? How can you tell the difference when looking at used Verso?

The new (current) model has a CVT and the old has a MMT, at least that is the case here in the Netherlands. I can't imagine it will be different in the UK.

A collegue of mine had the old version with the MMT gearbox. It was nothing but trouble!
