Thanks for that. I wonder why yesterday's Telegraph advised buyers to go for the earlier belt driven 2.0 D4D and to avoid the later 2.2 because of potential faults with the DPF. They appear to be anti-Toyota - advising people to avoid them for some reason. Mine is on 95,000 miles and sweat as a nut.

Probably because they dont know what they are talking about, the 2.2 T180 has the DPF. The other 2.2d's at this age dont.

Slight amendment, the car has a filter which is part of the Catalytic Convertor, they dont seem to cause issues unlike the D-Cat system on the 180's.
