B9010 Sat Nav Calibration Problem!

HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!!

I've just bought an Avensis t180 and the in dash sat nav is playing up!!! It keeps placing me miles away from where I am! I've tried the manual calibration, it's corrects it but then after awhile it starts playing up again!!!

Any ideas???

I had the same problem and the problem was that the sat nav arial was not plugged in! I would place the car on the map and point it in the right direction using the calibrate screen and then it would be OK for a couple of days. Then it would get lost again. I found the problem when I took the unit out to install a Parot bluetooth kit. Since plugging it in it's been perfect. Actualy it's quite impressive that the sat nav worked as well as it did with just spead and heading information which I think it gets from the speedo and an internal compass.

If you have the arial disconnected you will not see the "GPS" letters on the map at the top left of the screen.
