My Engine Light Keeps Coming On!

i have an 04 plate yaris and 15 months ago engine light came on i got it checked and it was the timing chain so i had it all repaired costing £500. last week my engine light came on and showed camshaft position sensor wasnt working properly so i got that sorted and it is still coming on everytime i get it taken off i went to toyota as i heard its the timing chain as it has gone slack they want to charge £150 to look at it and if it is timing chain another £500 as its a one yr warranty when they last did it i only done 14,000 miles since it was last done the oringinal one on car when bought lasted 6yrs and 83000 miles can anybody give me any advice as i dont know what to do hmmmm

HI Kirsty if the chain has gone slack it is most likely the auto adjuster thats not doing its job. Do you know if they changed the adjuster when they replace the chain.

It may be out of the warranty but it should not have failed that early.

Was the chain replaced by a toyota dealer.?

yes it was done by toyota dealer themselves i am not sure if the adjuster was replaced i no the tensioner plug was replaced
