Toyota Celica Wheels

Hi I wanted some advice please Re: my 2002 1.8 Toyota Celica. I currently have 18" alloys which have been a nightmare since i have driven over many potholes and the front wheel is now buckled and constantly leaks air. Im in the process of looking for new wheels, love the look and feel of the 18" but feel I should go down in size as i drive down lanes everyday and am likely to hit more potholes.

So what I want to know is which size wheels would be best? Will the car drive as nicely with smaller wheels? And will it look as nice? Want to get it right so any advice is very welcome!

Thanks

Melina

Hi Melina,

You should consider 17'' 7J with 35 offset and fit 215-45/17 tyres. This will give comfort, good handling, some rim protection for the wheels and help with the pot holes.
