I Put Oil In Densol

i just buy Avensois i put oil in cap that sayings densol. in water how do clean. is ok to use

Take a photo of exactly where you put the oil! Or at least tell us the type of avensis.

If there was water in there it must be either the coolant or the windscreen washer reservoir.

Have you run the engine since you did this? If nto I would try and 'draw' the oil off. oil and water are immiscible and the oil will float.

What ever you do dont start the car!!! As Tim said take a picture so we can see where you've put it! Hopefully noy in the power steering pump!...

Sure its the coolant (small metal cap)

In reality it may not matter that much but I would worry about...

- emulsion forming in coolant system and blocking it up

- rubber/plastics in the coolant system might not be oil safe (I doubt this though)

If you can then drain it, flush it (not sure what with at the moment) and refill with water/ toyota anti freeze

Glad you got it sorted mate :thumbsup: Be careful what you put in your densol, it can be quite painful :o
