Is There A Way (Diy) To Raise The Driver´s Seat In Aygo?

My wife feels that she would like to sit a little higher in the Aygo for better visibility and comfort. Has any one raised the seat before? Grateful for a DIY description.

I did this on a previous vehicle and may do it on my Aygo.

The problem is that it needs to be well engineered - the seat is part of the seatbelt system, so you need to understand and (try to) ensure that any mods will take the forces without failing. For that reason I'd be very reluctant to recommend you to try it.

Now in the wintertime I sit on a sheep-skin cushion which gives me an elevated driving position as well as some warmth.

We have seat heater and it is really powerful. The sheep skin is not necessary. It was minus 9deg C today and the seat heater is a blessing.

Heated seat in an aygo?

Both the driver's and passenger's seats are heated in Aygo delivered to Sweden. There are two illuminated switches in the lower dash controlling them. They are powerful and thermostatically controlled. It is nice to sit on a warm seat when it is minus 10 deg C out side and the car interior has not yet warmed up.
