Footwell Lights Always On?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Picked up my new Verso last night from the garage (59 plate 2010) and have a question about the footwell lights.

They seem to always stay on, is this what they should be doing. Wondered if they would extinguish when the doors locked after moving off but not the case. Asked sales guy and he hadn't noticed them before so couldn't really comment.

Any thoughts?

Other than that really pleased with the car!

Cheers,

Martin

This is rather weird... I'm B Duncan and your M Duncan and we both have Verso's! :cowboy:

Back to your question, the footwell lights are always on. Only piece of advise I can offer is to not look at them whilst driving :lol2:

On my RAV4, the footwell lights dim somewhat after closing the doors, but they do stay on. You can have them programmed to turn off at the dealer. They can program various optional parameters this way. I had them change mine to unlock all doors with one press of the unlock button on the fob.

Ignore my previous post as usual I`m wrong again, the footwell lights do stay on, dimly until the handbrake is engaged when they become brighter. ;)

all clear now - thanks.

On all time, but dimmer when handbrake off. Hadn't figured out that was what was making them change but obvious now!

Thanks,

Martin
