Rattle By Passenger Airbag

I have the dreaded rattle on my Toyota Avensis 2001 by the passenger side airbag. Toyota have quoted me 300 pounds to replace the airbag. From my research it could be the airbag knocking the dash or the dash has come loose. Has anyone fixed their rattle problem? Or does it need to be taken into a garage? Thanks.
