I keep insatlling Flash 10 or 11 whatever the latest is but it keeps telling me it still needs installing. Should it just run or do I need to do something?

Oops....been there....are you not just downloading it, then not remembering to go in and double click "downloads" to auto run / finish....? Windows 7 foxed me on that for ages....!!! (or W7 as I've heard it called on here....saddoes....)

After all the complaints and promises absolutely bugger all has been done.. Logging in can be impossible or takes a age.....

Many of the regular posters are not taking an interest or have stopped completely.. I have had enough now so will only look in once in a while.. As for bunging the admittedly very small amount next time around ..... Well what do You think ?

Of course that will not make a difference but then again if others follow suit ???

Well I don't know what is going on. My TOC browser is super fast on my desk top but slower on the laptop (wirelessly). However, I think my laptop is missing something in the compatibility settings.

Mine's t'other way round - fast on laptop via wireless, slow and jerky on wired desktop

Anybody got a good way to use the emoticons? I can do it, but it seems much more complicated and time consuming than the old method,    I have to bring up a complete new show all emoticons every time i use them.... :help2: :help2: Stew

updated java too and still the same!!

Still utter crap! Slow jerky scrolling; quite often I scroll, nothing happens but then the damned thing takes off; sometimes the page will decide to move of its own accord; and the all-pervading black backgrounds are just about as user-UNfriendly as you can get.

I can't understand jedi's call to give them another two weeks' grace, this pox has ben running for a month, I think, and it's no better now than it was when it was launched (pushed over the edge would be a more accurate description!!!) What was quite amusing was that TOC sent me a gushing email extolling the virtues of the new site - about a week after they released it. Talk about organised.

I would still like to see the pillock who signed this "upgrade" off come on here and explain exactly why he thought it was such a spiffing idea to f*%k up what was quite a good web site!!

Charlie's absolutely right in saying that most of us are totally pi55ed off with this shambles & have reduced or stopped visits. I can see a very definite decline in the volume of threads since this abortion was foisted on us.
