Firstly, welcome the TOC Nick

Secondly, I think you have to be a little realistic about the response time you'll receive. The MR2 part of the forum will be quieter than the more main stream models like the Auris, Avensis, RAV4 and Prius. Also you posted your question on a weekend which tends to be a quieter time.

You could try a Google search or dedicated MR2 forums which may produce a swifter response to your question.

What's the problem you have with your car.

ok thanks guys i kinda thought the weekend would be more busy in here ! And jedi the problem is is that i have no spark i bought the car got home late at night then in mornin wouldnt start . i called rac they said i have power to the coil but nothing out he said suspect crank shaft sensor or inductive pick up faulty ?????????? into some research i believe the mr2 doesnt have a crank sensor ? is this right . as i said in my other post ive never had a toyota and im useless with electrical probs also ive jus lost my job and cant afford a garage right now so im wondering what bits i could replace which is the most likely cause . The year is 1991 its an inport and i believe has a 3sge engine in . i also read that the distributer cap requires replacing every year is this right ? maybe i should buy one of them first ? thanks all

Yep the dizzy cap is a start!!!! But im sure the RAC guy would have checked the obvious? But nothing suprises me,

Rotor arm? 1991 MR2.............. Points maybe?
