2002 Avensis Auto Heavy Steering

Hi,

this is my first post here as currently desperate to try and fix my car before i go bankrupt during this recession time.

Have my car bought second hand from toyota avensis 1.8 auto vermont 2002( old model) dealer 5 years ago now. Started noticing steering getting heavier and when trying to park the steering squeak badly asnd as if there is no power steering. After several filling air in tyres as the garage, breaks pad, disc changes still troubled by it. I have looked on the forum and they seem to be some answers related to some dry joint ? ( sorry i'm completely car illiterate). Recently also notice when turning corner there is very little self righting and at arounf 70 mph there is a bit of vibration.

i think for me there are several issues but i am just wondering if someone could point out the reason why my steering is heavy, squeaks and not self righting fully i would be very greatful as my garage are becoming clueless.. they even thingking of changing either the power steering or part of the steering rack. Oh , almost forgot, have changed the electrics coil last year as it was squeaking on the handle and causing the seat belt lights to go off- sorted that, also change part of the steering ? rack ? column as well. My mechanics suggested looking at the internet for the true reason. :(

PS , is there any mechanic that will fix it for me around rochdale area?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you
