Can you get a replacement other than the toyota version which costs a bit?

Been running a couple of years with out it but as the car get older may need one for MOT.

What engine are we talking about. I believe the lean burn is the difficult one, but you should be able to buy 1, 2, 3 & 4 wire sensors for conventional engines readily.
