Hi Im a newbie, just love my 1996 carina executive with 234425 miles on the clock. I bought it new for 16 grand and it has been a great friend to me down the years, however in the past few months I am finding a lot of dampness in the cab in the morning, so I was just wondering could somebody give me some advice as to how I could sort this out. Its driving mr nuts. Thanks a bunch. Martin

Hello Martin and welcome to the club.

Besides checking door seals water may be getting in past the membrane behind the door panels . is it worse in the boot where rear light lens are leaking.

have you looked under carpets to see water is getting past any blanking grommets etc.

Its not the best weatherr dry the car out in but if possble it means you have more chance of tracing a leak before it spreads again.
