can they be used as they come out of the packet or do they need to be spaced ? (VVTI 140) .. thanks

I always check anyway, but find they're usually correctly gapped out of the box. I usually use Bosch or NGK plugs, can't speak for any other makes.

The car stock, will use Denso, so there is another option. If you can get hold of them, Halo spark plugs are very good.

You'll be very lucky to get halo plugs as they have not been made by Brisk for 2-3 years now.

Most plugs come pre-set to the correct gap.
