hi matey

no any info re milage after your last service, if any

OK stop thinking about engine changing -- just come back with checking results:

- EGR condition inside;

- Turbo condition ---if it has variable vanes --- check with their flexibility on the axises/pins; besides - -have suction rubber hose un screwed and having held an impeller fixing nut -- move the shaft towards and back to evaluate an axis gap + rotate the same shaft --- easy or not ???

- fuel filter ---- have you changed it on time? Have you re-assembled it correctly giving no chance an air to be sucked?

- SCV ---- have multitester and check with each one (if two) solenoid coil resistance and compare with manual/repair manual -- any deviations -- SCV must be changed

- have all glow plugs screwed off and measure compression having disconected SCV from 12V.

Check and revert

Cheers/Igor
