Hi all,new member to the forum.

Recently bought a RAV4 NV VVTI 1.8 petrol for my wife.We had a Suzuki Jimny for a couple of years, but she reckoned that it was a "bit underpowered" so we decided on a bigger engined car but not much bigger than the Jimny.Rav4 just the ticket.Saw a few liked this particular car, part x the Jimny, deal done.Really nice drive and much better than the Jimny for acceleration and cruising speed.

This model has the double din factory fitted stereo with a cassette player. We want to upgrade so we can play via our MP3 players without having to use a tape converter.

I have had the stereo out, quite easy to do,and found attached to the cabling going into the back,a black box with a 13 pin round connection(nothing plugged into this)It has a label :ICD then the name TOY-KEN then a bar code underneath this name. There is a multi plug conected from the back of the stereo into this box but as I have said just this 13 pin outlet empty.

Does anyone know what this is?

I will attempt to add photos!!!!!post-117811-0-96081500-1329039782_thumb.post-117811-0-84917700-1329039812_thumb.post-117811-0-78943700-1329039886_thumb.post-117811-0-02628800-1329039918_thumb.

Thanks
