Hi,new member here with a stereo issue.Have a 2002 Rav44 NV with the factory fitted stereo that has a cassette player.We want to use our MP3 players without using a tape adaptor.I ahve had to unit out ,quite easy to do, and found a "black box" attached to the back of the unit that has a 13pin round connector at the outlet end with nothing plugged into it.

Anyone have any ideas what this is or does??

Dont want to change the unit as I like the temp,mpg etc readouts you can get.
