2012 Yaris Sat Nav Cheaper Upgrade Than Dealer?

Hi Group

I ve recently purchased a 2012 1.33 SR Yaris. The dealer wanted £500 for the sat nav software upgrade. Does any group member know of a third party that will install software cheaper??

I am pretty sure it is a dealer fit. My wife bought the new Yaris last September and the sat nav was free until I think October then customers would have to pay. My understanding is that it is a module which plugs into the back of the screen unit.

The "& GO" sat nav upgrade is actually additional hardware & not just a software update, you can add the kit after delivery of the car but it is more expensive than specifying it at the point of purchase. The £500 price only applies if fitted by Toyota before the car is delivered to the dealership.
