Why Go To A Gp?

:D Just a quick one to make all you F1 fans jealous.

Last year while based out in Germany during work hours I could here this screaming sound all day, couldnt figure out what it was. This went on for a few days for about 5 mins at a time and then silence for half an hour, then 5 mins again and so on. I thought it was either a motorbike or some sort of sports car, surely it couldnt be an F1 car on our base.

How wrong I was, one tea break I went up to the runway to check it out with a couple of pals, next thing theres an almighty revving sound then out of nowhere this F1 car comes screaming past us and along the runway, up and down a couple of times then back into an old hangar.

Every day then for about 4 months until I left I use to here or watch that Toyota test car blast up the runway.

Surely a whole seasons worth of grand prix for free for little old me :D
