Audio Controls

Hi

I just bought an Avensis TR 1.8 Auto petrol and I have spent sometime familiarising myself with the satnav/phone/audio system. One thing that I've noticed is that the scrolling controls on the steering wheel work the wrong way around i.e .when i press the down arrow it scrolls up.Also unless the screen with the preset stations is on, the scroll goes through the station list than the presets. Not showstoppers but i wonder if there is a way to set them to behave in a different way.

Overall after 3 days of city driving, i would say I am satisfied. I am going up north for the weekend and I will find out how it behaves on the motorway and what is its true MPG

I'm not sure if this is any help to you but on the 03-08 avensis with the basic stereo if you press the up or down steering wheel buttons the radio searches for the next station by frequency, but if you hold the button in it goes to the next preset station instead.
