Hi all,

I would like to know what engines can fit the paseo (EL44,1994).

I currently have the 1.3L DOHC EFI 5efe engine and would like to know what other engines will fit. I am looking for more power, so also if it can be turbo/super charged

4EFTE 1.3 Turbo from the Glanza is your best bet. 4AGE's fit also I think with some work.

the 5ehfe will fit as well, so will the 3ee, but that is lower in power, so i dont know why you would want it :P. anything else will fit with modification.

5ehfe havent heard of that one whats it like? Liters,valves,etc and ill check the 4efte but 1.3 even turbo would not have that much power would it? i know its lighter but..

4EFTE is a 115/135bhp switchable dual boost so it's ok! :D

Takes the Starlet to 60 in just under 7 I believe so the Seo would be a little slower due to weight but they're highly tunable engines.

5EFHE came in early Paseo's amongst others & is about 110bhp.

yeah i had a look at the 5e-hfe and it should have been standard in my paseo, i wish ;)

but that does that mean a 4efte would still be better than a 5e-hfe im not sure. ive heard that the 4efte come standard with turbo and better internals. what does 4efte rev to? 5ehfe is 7200

so people what would u put in a 4efte or 5ehfe?
