hi, ive just bought my wife a yaris on 03 plate, its only a 1.0 so nice and cheap to run and insure as shes only just passed her test, it has done 88k which im happy with for the age as it seems to be well looked after, service history etc, and doesnt seem like its been abused,. what i reall wanted to know was what sort of miles are they good for as we intend to keep for a while, thanks

Well maintained? Well over 150k miles..

Well we've had a few people here run them past 150k with no major issues so I think you'll be okay ;)

Just look after it and keep it serviced regularly and I'm sure it'll last many more years! :)

That said, some of the more expensive maintenance items may be up soon, e.g. brake discs and drums, clutch etc. unless they've already been done...
