Roof Racks

Do Toyota sell roof racks for the Yaris? If so, any ideas how much and are they any good? I need one for my surfboard.

yes they do about 150 quid i think?

Yeah I just rung them £114 for the rack and £47 for the surfboard addon. Not sure whether to go Toyota or 3rd party. Are all the prices fixed?

toyota one will fit straight on tho with no quarms i suspect? so itll be easier

The fittings for the yaris Roof Rack are quite weird. I bought one with my car. Each 'foot' of the thing is different, and has a different shaped rubber part on each one. Can only go one one way (as I found out in about half an hour )

Aaaanyway, it's a pretty sturdy Roof Rack, as roof racks go, plus it locks onto the car which is quite good. You don't NEED a surfboard attachment. I windsurf and I just wrapped some foam pipe insulation around my bars and attached with a load of gaffa tape. Job done and ~£50 saved.
