What aftermarket turbo would you get for your MR2?

I'm currently leaning towards a GReddy TD06SH 20g - cos without a stroker kit I dont think the bigger ones will spool up much before 5000rpm, and I want it to be daily drivable.....

What would YOU have???

Me personally having a CT20b id just make it a hybrid unit. Cheap(er), tried and tested.

But then theres the clutch, cooling (WI or IC), pistons, injectors and head possibly gah!!... the next stage up soooo damn expensive!

I'm with Pizza boy about the hybrid, definately the way to go. Although I would go for a Garrett T3/T4 Turbo. It uses the turbine from the T3 for quick spool and larger compressor from the T4 for better flow. Its used in conjuction with the 2.2 stroker kit and will easily smash 350bhp and can have boost of around 20PSI.

What were your first impressions with it when you first got it?? and what sorta power did you make with it??

NO one here in NZ has attempted to up-grade a CT20b :(

Definately, I would choose something with a quick spool time. It's no good having a wacking great turbo if it taken five hours to get up to speed!!

awsome. spools up very quick, positive boost by 2000 rpm and about 1 bar around 3000rpm holds 1.5bar to the redline feels vertualy lag free currently running aprox 350bhp but want to see what the power is when wound up to 1.8bar
