Estima Boot Wont Shut Properly

Hi all. We have had our estima for about a month and love it but it has one little problem. The boot wont shut fully it seems to always leave the door open light on on the dash. Is it a common problem and easilt fixed. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks

hi matthew i had this problem with mine, took the lock off to have a look the switch for the courtessy light is inside the lock, i tryed everything to sort it had multimeter out as well. i got a bit peed off an slamed the boot shut quite hard geuss what, the light went off aparently the lock at a double close an a good slam sorts it. hopr this helps
