Fog Lights

Has anyone else used them in real fog or low cloud?

I have and find them just pathetic! They seem to light up the fog more rather than cut through it, they made the viability worse. When I used to aftermarket fogs on my old Mini they were much better and gave off a low wide flat beam, these factory fitted ones don't.

I have some Ring Projector fog lights in the garage, it might look at swapping them over.

I just used them this morning in the fog and they worked great. I have however changed mine to 3K yellow HID.

Did mention it on Taz's built topic

Did a fair bit of reading on fog lights. It seems fog and mist molicules are rather heavy and it apparently doesnt matter what temperature of lights you use as none out favour each other may well change mine to HID's seems they are H11 type according to the manual
