Viewing A T-Sport Today!

Hey I'm new to this forum,

My names Jordan and I'm 19, I'm looking to buy a Yaris T-sport in the next week or so, I'm viewing one today it's a 51 plate in blue, It's got 111k miles on the clock and he wants £1700 but looking to knock him down to around £1500.

Whilst I'm viewing T-sports, Are there any major things that I should be aware off any common faults of some sort?

Any information would help me.

Get an insurance quote first.. I would imagine £2500.or so

Get an insurance quote first.. I would imagine £2500.or so

Insurance is not an issue, I go on my dads company insurance its about £500 full comp for a year

Basically rust on petrol filler pipes, suspension bushes, anti roll bar bushes.. and engine noises when col (tapping cams.chain). Oh and cltuch and oil leaks.

Give it the beans and make sure it pulls cleanly in each gear. It's a pretty instant throttle response on these cars. Check the state of the suspension coils front and rear - the coil spring insulators (you can see them easily on the rear) have probably seen better days by now. Drive in circles and listen for loud clicks from the driveshafts.

Yea and perpare yourself to start spending some money on it! i ve spent nearly £1000 so far on mine THIS YEAR , had it since new, its only got 48,000 on it! GOODLUCK!
