Auris Mpg

As the weather has warmed up I am now getting about 48-49 mpg. I have the 2.0 Diesel D4D.

Anybody else noticed this?

Yep, the warmer the weather the quicker the engine warms up, thus improved MPG.

My Avensis has gone 42 to 45 MPG.

I'm getting around 47-49 mpg too.

It's amazing just how much difference the weather makes to the mpg figures.

When you consider that the engine is using less fuel to warm up now in milder conditions & you're likely to be using the heater less too, there's your fuel saving ;)
