Diesel Leaking Into Sump

i ve got a 2002 d4d previa losing diesel into the sump what do you think its likely to be chaps losing 5 litres in about 80 miles driving.

car is new to me been sold a bit of a pup but looking for sugestions to cause.

and how easy would be to fix?

hi matey

open the valves cover and inspect all fuel injectors connections inside. any leaks observed there? it is vissible basing on respective traces. in case you can not find anything then a like reason might be with blocking of one needle inside the injector and diesel headed inside the cylinder/piston rings/ sump tank. in any case you have to visit good injection parts mechanic and it might be easy to fix. be ready there might be new injectors would be required (?????) subject the needle is in fact blocked (due to dirty diesell lline) cheers/Igor
