Aircon Drain

Hi

Does anyone know where the aircon drain tube is on a 1997 Carina? The car keeps steaming up and although everything seems to be working ok I thought that water in the evaporator casing may be the problem. Any other ideas would be welcome.

Hi there i have a 97 Carina Auto and my windows can mist up in rainy damp weather i have checked the engine radiator level and is fine so can not be the heater matrix have you checked the same? Because if the matrix is weaping this will cause misting especially after using the heater

But your post is interesting as you mention the air conditioning ? The pump on mine has been disconected before i accuired the car as it must have been faulty and because im not bothered about air con have left it like that

But surely the air con system which is no longer circulating would not cause in my case misting would it? Please let me know if you find out more about yours??

Mine is the heater matrix. Radweld in the cooling system has stopped the misting. Car will have to go as a fix will be more than the old girl is worth and I won't trust it in a summer traffic jam.

I also got an issue about my Aircon, my techinician said that I need a thermostat.
