Fitting Non Toyota Reverse Sensors

Hi

Has anyone fitted non Toyota reverse sensors to a 2010 Avensis?

Do they need an isolation relay in the reverse light connection.

I notice that the later Avensis position of the sensors is lower in the rear bumper than on earlier models,

looks as though the bumper will not need removing.

Any thougts welcome, as an earlier car I fitted after market sensors to was better for hearing than an Avensis with Toyota fit items.
