When I bought my 2010 iQ2 the dealer did not have the service record book. I have now received it and see that in May 2010 the accelerator pedal was inspected and in February 2011 the steering column was replaced under warranty. Were these two items common recalls and is there anything else that should have been done?

Chez,

Here is an old thread about recalls and other possible rectifications that may or may not have been done to your IQ:

(In your case I think the brake recall should have been done too, unless your car is too "young".)

Hope it is of some use.

Thanks John,

It appears that the accelerator pedal and steering column were the only recalls affecting my car. Unfortunately, my local Toyota dealer here in Portugal is very unhelpful, probably because I didn't buy the car from them.

Daft attitude on their part.

It shouldn't bother the service department where you bought the car.

Yours seems to be up to date recall wise, so all should be well.
