How to change the speedometer to read Kilometers per hour instead of MPH.

The manual does not appear to refer to this directly … at least, there is no reference to a speedometer in the manual index. Its not unusual to have to read the manual as if it was an IQ test. For some odd reason they do not in check out the basics before they publish.

Its in the manual, although I'm not sure what page number its on. I think it might be on page 163.There is a heading at the top of the pages in that section, which says something about gauges and instruments. I've changed mines a quite a few times. Anyway here is what you have to do, using the button on the right side of the dash screen.

Trip meter reset knob- Reset the 2 trip meters to zero, and also change the meter display.

To change the meter display, quickly push and release the knob. The meter display changes in the order from the odometer to trip meter A to trip meter B, then back to odometer each time you push.

To reset the trip meter A to zero, display the meter A reading, then push and hold the knob until the meter is set to zero. The same process can be applied for resetting the trip meter B.

The speed units km/h and MPH can be selected by pushing the trip meter reset knob for more than 1 second when the odometer is displayed and the tail/headlight switch is off.

The brightness of the combination meter illumination can be changed, between bright and dark. By pushing the trip meter reset knob for more than 1 second when the odometer indication is displayed and tail/headlight switch is on.

Thank you Lorna2. Still can't see the reference in the manual… but your well written explanation led me straight to the answer.
