Hi all,

The wife's IQ has a chip on the front bumper which i'd like to touch up.

I've looked on eBay and there appears to be a few paint codes for pearl white but i'm not sure what hers is or how i find out.

The car is a 2010 IQ2 if this helps.

Thanks

Nik

Best bet would be to go to your local dealers and get a touch up pen from them.

According to the 2010 sales brochure I have the available colours were....

1G3 Decuma Grey

070 White pearl

3P0 Chilli red

9AH Deep amethyst

1F7 Tyrol silver

209 Eclipse black

8T7 Island blue

In the latest 2012 brochure they have made the addition of another colour

Thanks Craig, i'll take a chance on the 070

Out of curiosity, any ideas what a main stealer charges for touch up paints?

Nik

No, Not sure on cost, I got my tub of 1F7 Silver from eBay.

Genuine Toyota touch up kit and it cost about £7.50 I think. Not sure if that was good or not but I can easily get caried away buying things on eBay! :)

Funny, Scion calls the 070 Blizzard Pearl. A bottle of touch up paint here in the States is about 14 dollars.

I have always purchased my touch up at paintscratch.com Good prices and they do ship out of the country.

Funny too that I ordered a Scion spoiler from the States and the paint code is the same, 1F7 but they call it Classic Silver and we call it Tyrol Silver.

Took a chance seeing as the code is the same and they all come from the same factory in Japan but hope they match when I get it. :)

Mine was stuck in Coventry customs for 11 days just to stick £11 VAT on it then Parcel force charged another £13.70 for the privilege Thieves !!!

Hope you fare better than me Craig.
