Can you help, My HiLux MK6 2006 2.4 D4D keeps stopping when on tick over, it also stops when you first start it, its runs for about 2 seconds then stops, or faulters for a while then runs ok. its ok at high engine revs when normal driving. i replaced the fuel filter with a genuine one, but this has made no differance. I have put it on a diognostic reader but it does not have any faults shown on it, has anyone any ideas, Thanks Mark,

hi Mark

have both SCV solenoid coils tested to know what resistance is there + compare with repair manual -- if any deviation -- change them -- they are about to die.

by the way -- do not forget alll members wait for your outcome

Thanks for your comments, I will keep using it as we are so busy at the moment, its just a bit of a pain but i need both my trucks for work, but we can live with it untill its no longer needed for the works ( about 3 weeks ) then we can just use one truck, the Extra cab hilux . Mark.
