Hi, yesterday, I picked up my first Toyota. For the last 5 years I've been driving a Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 CDTI, but recently we decided to downsize the car as I needed something which was roomy and automatic as the old knees aren't as good as they were. In addition we had got fed up operating as the family taxi and so we've bought an IQ3.

It's just like a little tardis, small on the outside and big inside. I still need to get used to automatic and more importantly I need to get my wife trained up on it.

Today I had to take my daughter to hospital and my 6 month pregnant granddaughter insisted on coming with us. I'm not doing it again as the car is really a 2 + 2 and not a 4 seater. My daughter was folded up in the back whilst my granddaughter had plenty of room in the front.

In future, there is just me and the wife.
