Gen 2 Radio Issue.

Hi guys,

Just bought a 58 plate Gen2 TSpirit and am delighted with it.

No doubt I will be pestering you all for tips over the next few weeks.

My first issue is with the Radio.

Every now and then the sound is interrupted for a second as if something has interfered with the signal.

This despite it being set at the correct frequency for my area.

This happens on all stations.

Does it play a CD without these occasional interruptions?

Might be the radio's RDS Auto-Frequency function searching for a stronger signal - could try switching off the AF function.

Tried the aux input with my ipod and it was fine so ruling out a speaker problem.

Will try switching of AF tomorrow as soon as I find out how.

This car is going to take some getting used to all the toys.

Got the weekend to sit in it with the manual and play.
