I have a 2000 avensis saloon, with 159k miles on the clock, it was swapped against a 190e Merc, which almost stopped me driving it was so dfangerous.

We live in a very rural part of Kilkenny, I have a 11 year old son who is mad into Nerf Guns and can be found on Youtube under "The Meister449", also dad can be seen playing snooker.

My wife drives a Rover 25, which is her pride and joy, she is a kitchen manager, so we are always treated to some tasty cooking.

My daughter is 30 something and drives a Corsa which is one of a very long line of Opels, though of late her driving has slowed down but previously you would have thought she was practising for some rally.

Now I have a slight problem I cannot open the boot, the key goes round and round, hitting the unlock button has no effect on the boot but at least with the back seat down I can get in.

Anyone any idea how to open same without damaging the lock etc would be delighted to know.

We are into classic cars and belong to Kilkenny Motor Club, we have a 65 Volvo Amazon, which due to the state of rural irish roads, spends most of its time in the garage.
